In January 2020, the Association for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) established a nonpartisan political action committee (PAC)—the ASCO Association PAC—to provide cancer care providers with more opportunities to engage with lawmakers on the challenges and current realities facing the U.S. cancer care delivery system and cancer research enterprise. The PAC supports the advocacy priorities set by the Association’s Government Relations Committee that aim to shape legislation that impacts our members’ ability to provide high-quality, equitable, and affordable cancer care to the approximately 1.8 million people in the United States who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
