ASCO disseminates guidelines and provides support for implementation in various media. All evidence-based clinical guidance documents are published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO). Companion Clinical Insights are published in the JCO Oncology Practice (JCO OP).

ASCO develops Clinical Tools and Resources (CT&Rs) to accompany each guideline, which are posted on the ASCO Guidelines Website. They include a PowerPoint slide set, a summary of recommendations table, algorithm or flow diagram, and patient information. The ASCO Guidelines app contains all of ASCO’s recommendations and incorporates interactive tools to help make decisions at the point of care. In addition, a podcast, which features key recommendations from the guideline is recorded with expert panel members.

ASCO collaborates with Guidelines Central to develop clinician and patient pocketcards for our guidelines. ASCO members have free access to the digital versions of the pocketcards.

ASCO promotes the guidelines using other communication strategies. These include notices on ASCO's social media accounts, the ASCO ExpressASCO ConnectionASCO Post, and other membership communication outlets. ASCO also promotes guideline dissemination and implementation through its Annual Meetings, disease-specific symposia, and State Affiliates.
