ASCO Global Leadership programs are under the purview of ASCO’s Regional Councils. Each yearlong program is designed to create a talented, regional network of clinicians who are empowered to identify and fill leadership roles in oncology and promote interdisciplinary collaboration across the various regions and within ASCO.

ASCO is committed to supporting diversity in the field, and participants in each Global Leadership Program represent diverse regions, resource settings, backgrounds, and specialties. Participants are selected based on their commitment to improving cancer care and their potential for leadership. At the conclusion of the program, participants are better able to lead successful advocacy efforts, build relationships with leaders within their countries, and lead within their own societies, institutions, and ASCO.
