ASCO is dedicated to supporting and improving clinical trials in ways that take full advantage of today’s scientific and technological opportunities to realize major new advances in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. As such, ASCO advocates for increases in the federal funding of clinical trials, provides tools and resources to current and upcoming generations of researchers, and works toward increased access to clinical trials for all patients.
