Oncology Training Program Leadership Retreat: An annual 2-day, in-person meeting at ASCO Headquarters where program leaders learn best practices, gain access to concrete, real-life examples, and network with peers. View prior Retreat session recordings.

ASCO Communities of Practice (CoP): Provides opportunities for individuals beyond the fellowship training community to come together, build community, and network around a special interest area or topic, both onsite at the Annual Meeting and virtually throughout the year. ASCO Medical Oncology In-Training Exam (ITE): A case-based, multiple-choice low-stakes examination intended to be used for self-evaluation and program improvement with the goal of getting a snapshot of the training program, as well as trainee knowledge.

ASCO Medical Oncology Self-Evaluation Program (ASCO-SEP®): Comprehensive offering to enhance foundational knowledge and prepare for Boards, featuring the Question Bank with 1,300+ questions and rationales, timed practice exams, and custom assessments; plus, over 20 evidence-based chapters. Available to oncology training programs at a group discount of 50% off.

ACGME Milestones & Resources: View the ACGME Milestones and optional toolkit for oncology training programs. The Milestones were designed by the ACGME to provide a framework for the assessment of the fellow. These tools were designed to streamline assessment and to hopefully provide more granular data of training progress.

Combined Hematology/Oncology and Hospice & Palliative Medicine Training: A newly approved ACGME pilot, aimed at being an efficient pathway for trainees to learn how to integrate palliative care throughout the course of cancer treatment and become dual or triple board-eligible in medical oncology (with or without hematology) and hospice & palliative medicine.
