COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Extended Through Late April

On January 7, 2021, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Alex Azar extended the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) declaration for an additional 90 days, effective January 21.

Telehealth and other waivers and flexibilities that have been implemented during the PHE will now remain in effect through at least April 21, 2021.
